Grapes of Wrath

The Theatre Department is rehearsing for their production of The Grapes of Wrath, which will take the stage of Gentry auditorium next week. Director Kyle Biery expects the show to receive rave reviews from the audience. "It is going to be a great show," Biery said.

Winter Blues

Winter can be a drab, boring time of year; however, there are plenty of events in the surrounding area to fill any calendar. Jefferson City may not be the most fun-filled place, but Knoxville and Gatlinburg are not too much of a drive. The Valerium is a fun concert venue with several upcoming events.

Student and Traveling Exhibits on Display at Art Galleries

Carson-Newman's art galleries, located in the Warren Art building, feature a number of student and traveling exhibits every semester. The galleries are open to students on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Warren Art's Student Gallery, which highlights some of the best work produced by art students, will open its first exhibit on February 17.
